World number one and tournament favourite Roger Federer takes on Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Friday (08:30 GMT, 19:30 local time) with a place in Sunday's Men's singles final up for grabs.
The game airs live on bet365, who are also airing every other match from the 2010 Australian Open - LIVE!
The winner will take on Britain's Andy Murray, with Federer the huge odds-on favourite (1/7) to progress at the expense of the Frenchman.
Federer reached the semi-finals - his 23rd consecutive Grand Slam semi - after beating number six seed Nikolay Davydenko on Wednesday, with the Swiss upping his game to record a 2-6 6-3 6-0 7-5 victory in two hours and 36 minutes.
Despite losing the first set against the Russian, Federer made an amazing comeback in the second set, winning an astonishing 13 games in a row.
Federer had said after the match that he was struggling with Davydenko’s intensity and the sun shining across the early in the match.
"I just tried to stay positive," he said. "I knew that hopefully when the sun goes, it may be for the better. It was a surprise to come back that great."
While the three-time winner of this tournament will not have to worry about the sun when he takes to court, he will have to worry about intensity, as number ten seed Tsonga can bring plenty of it.
Tsonga, a finalist here in 2008, caused an upset in the quarter-finals, defeating Novak Djokovic (the man who beat him in the 2008 final) 7-6 6-7 1-6 6-3 6-1.
When asked how he could beat Federer to book a place in Sunday's final, the 24-year-old said: "What do I have to do? I have to play my best tennis.
"Roger played unbelievable (on Wednesday) again, because Nikolay was in good shape, so it's gonna be tough. But like today, I will give everything and we will see."
He added: "I am stronger, physically stronger than in 2008, I think I have more than one way to play, and this is why I am better."
There's no doubting that Tsonga, 9/2 to cause another upset, will have to play the best tennis of his career if he is to defeat Federer. And while Tsonga may have been able to go the distance against Djokovic, Federer is a different animal when it comes to five set epics.
For Tsonga to win, he has to make a strong start. It was vital against Djokovic, which is why we tipped him at 6/4 to win the first set, and it will be vital against against Federer. At time of writing, Tsonga can be backed at a generous looking 11/4 with bet365 to win the opening set.
Even if Federer loses the opening set - and he has done so twice this tournament after losing his first set of the tournament against Igor Andreev - it would be a brave person to back Tsonga to win, although it is worth noting that Tsonga has beaten him before.
That said, those of you betting in-play on Betfair could do worse than to back Tsonga at the 6.0 available at time of writing with a view to trading out should he take the first set.
Laying a 3-0 Federer win at 2.3 also looks reasonable value given that we can't see a straight sets victory, while the 6/1 offered by bet365 on a 3-2 Federer victory is also of interest as we fully expect the Swiss to reach the final.
Overall, it promising to be a thrilling encounter ahead of two great Australian Open singles final's this weekend, both of which will be broadcast live online.
